Herkimer Diamond Mine, Campground and Gift Shop! Our Camp Store is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily during our camping season. We do let you mine until sunset here at Crystal Grove! Herkimer Diamonds are a rare form of quartz crystal found only in a specific district of New York State. Our campground is a very short walk across the foot bridge to our mining area, which is accessible by foot, bike, stroller or vehicle. Read more
