Housatonic Council's 200 acre Resident Camp in Goshen , CT The Housatonic Council serves the five communities in the Lower Naugatuck Valley of Connecticut. They are Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour, and Shelton.
The Housatonic Council, although organized in 1920, held its first annual meeting Jan. 25, 1923 and voted to organize as a first class council to have jurisdiction over Scouting in Ansonia, Shelton and Seymour in addition to Derby. Read more
